I mean, seriously just think about it

Uncle Larry takes a quick break from the big game at halftime to discuss a few of the harmonic ideas that have been racing through his head all day …
You guys would not believe what goes in there…

like for example, when my Cleveland brain puts C major, F major and G major in a blender, it all roughly adds up to a E pentatonic blues smoothie

It almost works over the F chord in this silly loop…almost

You see it?m friends?

On a more important note, we are lucky to be able to witness a football game played at this level friends ..two incredible teams dukin’ it out on prime time television in front of millions of hard working God fearing Americans.

Fall is indeed here my dear Homeskoolers

For the record I got Detroit plus 5 tonite

PS: do you think that poor kid Gus could read this chart?

September 20th, 2025

Homeskoolin’ Bonus “The Unicorn”

Chapters
00:00 - Setting up Camco drums
02:55 - Playing the drums

Notes
As you may know, your Uncle Larry has always been a major vintage drum enthusiast…I would even venture to say that my knowledge regarding the whole culture of old drums is WAY more than it should be for a guy who can barely play

I’ve been surrounded by great drummers my whole career and they have always been kind enough to answer my endless questions and feed my undying curiosity about old drums and cymbals.

I have owned MANY old kits over the years…several old Ludwig kits...two different 70's Vistalite kits...a couple different 60's blue and black oyster kits...even a really rare ‘69 psychedelic red set that i gave to Joe Vitale years ago to replace the one he regretfully let go of back in the 70's.

i had a beautiful red sparkle 50's round badge Gretsch kit…a 70’s Rogers butcher block kit…an old early 80's Tama kit like Stewart played…you name it friends

But this….this is BY FAR the coolest rarest drum kit I have ever owned.

Circa LA era 1971 Camco 4 piece in natural finish with all the original hardware and matching snare...22-16-13 with matching 5x14 snare

I have only used it in the past with more modern deluxe hardware and pedals...with separate tom holder stands etc etc....but i thought it would be fun to set it up with all the original old school hardware...with the original the bad ass single braced flat cymbal stands and the original Camco bass drum pedal and hi hat stand....as God Intended.

I even have the original weird bass drum ride cymbal mount arm, but we chose not to use it....it's TOO retro.

This kit has no extra holes…no excuses…any drum collector will tell you how difficult it is to find an old Camco kit that hasn't been all monkeyed up...you just never see this stuff.

For example, if you were ever trying to locate one of the original Camco tom mounts like you see here... you would be "shit out of luck" as they say.

Hope you closet drummers out there enjoy the fine playing of young Matty Alger.

Matty is the owner and engineer at The Cabin studio in east Nashville where we recorded most of the “in stereo” album I made with Guthrie Trapp

A fine fella and fantastic musician....i thank him sincerely for helping me set up all this cool old gear for the Bukovac family to enjoy for years to come

Homeskoolin’ Bonus Jam “One Take Wonder”

Chapters
00:00 - Country picking
03:22 - Marshall company gift / European shirts

Notes
Hello friends, I just wanted to see what would happen if I really quickly did one take only to build a simple guitar and bass loop….and then quickly did one take only soloing on top of it

I’m all about the freshness of the spontaneous musical moment...and I'm also all about a 1960 slab board Tele Custom....what could possibly go wrong?

anyway, this is the result of my little one take experiment…hope you enjoy my friends

Also a little love here for our long suffering European friends who have been completely screwed in the Homeskoolin merch game since day one

this whole campaign is mainly designed a special treat for our friends across the pond..
although i do promise I will try to get some of these in the states too if you hound me enough.

Of course, in the true tradition of Homeskoolin' Inc., these shirts will be of the utmost quality and EXTREMELY soft and comfortable.

I will forward the ordering details as soon as they are officially available

Also, big thanks to Hugh Gilmartin and all our friends in the custom shop at Marshall Amplification for hooking me up with this sweet ass back panel.
